OK. It's been a few months since we've had any real updates. We are happy to be releasing a new song this Sunday called “Waiting”. This is a song written in 1959 by my dad, Ron Beatty when he had a band called The Eschelons. This was one of the first songs they recorded and Ron wrote it when he was 14-15 years old! He would have been 80 years old on November 10, so I decided to re-imagine this song while trying to have elements of the 50's era. I worked it up in my studio and headed to Planet Sunday to have Joel and Criss help me get it to the finish line. I LOVE how it came out and I hope you enjoy it! Here is the cover art!

The third single for the Above the After project will be released later this month or early December! We hope to have a solid date ASAP. “All These Days” had its start as a demo that I started working on in 2003. The original idea was more of a rock song, but when revisiting it in 2020 with Criss, it became more of a ballad with what we thought turned out to be an amazing piano “riff” or passage in the verses. Back in February, we just about wrapped up tracking and ended up sitting on it this summer. In the process of tracking, we ended up with an instrumental ending that takes the song to a much different place than the verses and chorus. Joel and I had a BLAST playing on the end and we all worked together to make it shine! Excited for you all to hear this one! We've got a little mixing and polishing left to do on it. Stay tuned!
